About

The Support Network for Athletes of Pacific Islands (SNAP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to unlocking access and opportunity for women athletes—particularly those from Pacific Island communities and other historically underrepresented groups.

At SNAP, we bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.

Through education, cultural identity, and access to flag football tournaments and ID Camps, we open doors for women athletes to compete at the highest levels—while building a future that extends far beyond the game.

Vision

The vision of SNAP is rooted at the heart of what matters the most to Nat & Patty Keresoma: their girls. The Keresoma’s have dedicated their lives to both of their daughters who carry the same love of flag football as their parents. Their dedication continued down to their granddaughters, who also carry the same passion for the sport of flag football.

The success of their girls both in the world of flag football and their professional accomplishments inspired the Keresoma’s vision for SNAP:

A world where women athletes from all backgrounds have equal access to opportunity—and where Pacific Island women are represented, celebrated, and competing on the global stage.

SNAP Foundation funded the Amerika Samoa Women’s National Flag Football Team for the 2025 IFAF Asia Oceania Flag Football Championships in Ningbo, China. Read more about the team’s journey from their head coach.
